Anyway, I thought of this while trying to introduce one of the central BlueJay villains, Arctos (Arctos is the scientific name for bear, I believe).

Arctos is one of the villains R.J. has to deal with a lot, as he bases his criminal profession in weapons dealing for his own gang and to other gangs in neighboring cities.
But no mater how much he deals with him, R.J. always gets beat up to some extent during their encounters because of Arctos's powers.
If you haven't guessed yet, Arctos powers have to do with transforming into a bear (or, at least his arms and mouth can). I think (I haven't decided 100%) that he got his powers from being experimented on by the Black Plague and giving them info and materials from the streets in return. I haven't decided on if he can go FULL BEAR or not either, but he possesses superhuman strength (way more so than R.J.) and a huge lust for blood.
Although R.J. considers Carver Wilson to be his real archenemy, Arctos is a close second because of his deadliness. And though he's big on brawn, Arctos isn't a dummy either, so he's formidable in that respect too.

I'll have more on this character and other characters soon, but for now I have other stuff to do

the legs look good, though arctos hand looks a bit stiff with his palm out like that. the coloring, lines and shading looks pretty awesome though (and the size difference between the two characters is conveyed nicely)

on a side note, ursus is the scientific name for bear

scientific classification is done in latin, and classified in order, which would put the genus before the species (which makes it real confusing when looking at it side by side with the english words for the creature) so by scientific logic it would be "bear, brown" in latin instead of "brown bear" in english.
illogical scientists and their dead language naming system pfft

on the other hand, there are a number of bears with "ursa" as a name that could have been a useful hint, ursa major, ursa minor, teddyursa, ursaring (which is what that fellow is right or am i just suddenly seeing pokemon everywhere)
