Before any of you yaoi fangirls nosebleed all over your computer keyboards, this is NOT what it may look like.

I've gotten a lot of questions from people asking if R.J. and Wesley have consummated their relationship at this point in time, which sort've makes sense seeing as how they're not in a "yaoi" relationship and therefore not immediately in each other's pants.

But anyway, to all these people who may be wondering, this picture is the most intimate level that R.J. and Wesley are on before they get into their 20s, and all they're doing is LITERALLY sleeping together.
Though I always think innocent snoozing between people is adorable, I did draw this for another reason, and that's to tell you this:
This is to me the highest level of trust someone can have in another person is to let them sleep with them. Because that's when your guard is down the most, and when you're the most vulnerable.
And for someone like R.J. who is not exactly untrusting but is extremely uncomfortable with people getting close to him, I think this is the ultimate way of showing Wesley how he does trust him and is willing to change for him.

I know this is how R.J. would be because I don't let anyone, even when I was little, into my bed at all. Not even my sister. It's not that I don't trust anyone I know, but it's just hard to let people into that sacred of a space, and I'd imagine R.J. would be the same way.
I'm so bad about it that I hate anyone getting on my bed just to get into it even when I'm not in it, but that's a seperate issue.

But anyway, back to the picture.
Yeah, this is one of their favorite things to do together. Wesley likes being able to be physically close to R.J., and R.J. likes the comforting pressure that comes from the way Wesley holds him (which most people with Aspergers find this comforting BTW).
Though both R.J. and Wesley are built to survive on 3-4 hours of sleep, it still doesn't hurt to catch a few z's when they can.
R.J. gets away with napping in class because the teacher's know that he somehow knows the material anyway, but it's not the kind of substantial sleep that he and Wesley need (Wesley can't afford to fall asleep in class as much because he isn't as advanced as R.J. in his studies).
So when they both get back to R.J.'s apartment at the end of school at 2:30 p.m., they both sleep until about 5:30 p.m., eat dinner, clean the apartment, relax (like watching TV and reading) and do their homework, and around 7-8:00 p.m. they go out on patrol.
They don't get back to their apartment until probably sometime around 3-4:00 a.m., and they sleep until 6:00 a.m. and they have to get up to got to school.

Yeah they're together for almost their entire day.
I'm trying to cultivate the impression that they behave almost similarly to magnets.
They can't stay away from each other

But anyway, yeah, I hope this gives you a little bit more of an impression of how their relationship works.
And just in case anyone's curious, they DO fight sometimes (because a relationship with no fighting in it isn't a healthy one), but it's mostly over stupid stuff like R.J.'s love of chocolate.

Anyway, I've been in a big drawing mood lately because someone gave me a link to the YJ episodes that were new and dubbed in a different language, and I, not minding spoilers, went and watched them and consequently had my mind blown.
I can't post a whole lot because the YJ group I submit to doesn't want anything spoilery to submitted until the episodes are aired in english, but it reinspired the YJ fanatic in me, and I've been working on my YJ commissions and comics as a result.

Plus I'm doing the Fanservice meme with R.J. in it
